Cupcake Day for the SPCA

It's cupcake time again!

Get those ovens fired up for Cupcake Day for the SPCA 2010! On Monday, 30 August, Cupcake Cooks will be descending in droves on their schools, workplaces and social groups with batch upon batch of deliciously decadent home-baked delights!

Once every last crumb has been devoured and mixing bowls thoroughly licked clean, all proceeds from cupcake sales and donations will go directly to your local SPCA.

PLEASE NOTE: Cupcake Cook registration has now closed. You can still register, but we can't guarantee your Cupcake Kit will reach you in time for Cupcake Day. But don't panic - all the forms you need (and an image of the poster) can be found under Cupcake Cook Resources.

If you're taking part in Cupcake Day, remember when using eggs in your cupcake recipe to choose barn or free range eggs.

1. Register
Register to become a Cupcake Cook by filling in our registration form. Please note: Registrations have now closed. You can still register, but we can't guarantee you'll get your pack in time.

2. Receive a Cupcake Kit
We'll send you a Cupcake Kit containing everything you need to know for Cupcake Day. You can also download this information here.

3. Bake up a storm
Whip up a batch - or five! - of delicious cupcakes; check out decorating ideas here and design some irresistible creations of your own.

4. Donate
On 30 August, ask everyone you know buy your cupcakes. It’s up to you what you charge, and the money you raise will go to your local SPCA.
